In order to carry forward the culture of Chinese characters, enrich the cultural life on campus, and promote the students to form the habit of writing Chinese characters in a standard and neat way, Anqing Foreign Language School's Senior High Department insists on practicing writing Chinese characters. Thus, the Senior High Department encouraged students of all grades and classes to take the initiative to participate in daily practice activities. After a semester, the students have gained a lot, not only improving the quality and beauty of Chinese writing, but also cultivating their sentiment in the process of writing classic Chinese characters. During the morning reading session on January 12th, the Senior High Department randomly selected some students from the list of the students practicing calligraphy in each class to participate in the acceptance activity of practicing calligraphy in this semester. All the students wrote the prescribed contents on the uniformly issued special writing paper. In picking up and closing the pen, we can see the solid foundation of their usual practice. Afterwards, the Senior High Department will proceed evaluation in terms of writing criterion, handwriting size, overall effect and so on.
